Learn how we instill the love of Christ in the hearts' of our children.
The River Kids Ministry
The River Kids Ministry goal is to come alongside families to raise up sons and daughters who know the power and presence of God, His principles, His promises, and His purpose. We want our children to encounter the love of Jesus, be empowered to grow confidently in who Jesus created them to be, and know that they can make a profound impact on the world around them. If you have a child who needs support please email:
What to expect
Checking in your kids is easy, safe and relatively quick! On your first visit, we will have you complete a New Family Card. This card provides our team with information needed to ensure your child is safe. Check-in begins 15 minutes before each service and ends 15 minutes after each service begins.
In response to Covid-19 we have implemented additional safety precautions in order to reduce the risk of the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
- Will there be health screening?
Yes - We will screen family members and check for temperatures above 100.4 degrees. Persons who have a fever of 100.4 or above or other signs of illness will not be admitted to the facility. We encourage parents to be on the alert for signs of illness in their children and to keep them home when they are sick.
- Will there be social distancing?
Yes - We have created a warm welcoming environment for the kids while still maintaining a 6 foot recommended distance per family. Parents will check-in their kids outside of the Tahoe Room. A volunteer will escort your kids into the classroom. At this time our kids' programs will combine Preschool and Elementary ages together in our large Tahoe Room. It allows for the kids to be spread out yet still engaged in the ministry time.
- What else?
The kids will be asked to wash their hands upon entry into the Tahoe Room. We will provide individual sanitized items for the kids to play with during the ministry time. A snack will be provided and will be distributed following strict hygiene guidelines. The kids will be asked to wash their hands prior to leaving the Tahoe Room.
